  2. Login and Navigate to Mandates Section of your mobile banking app: Enter your credentials to log in to your account. Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Mandates’ or ‘AutoPay’ section. This section typically contains a list of all your active mandates.
  3. Locate the Desired Mandate: From the list of active mandates, identify the one you want to cancel. The mandates are usually listed along with details such as the beneficiary’s name, frequency of payment, and the amount.
  4. Select the Mandate for Cancellation: Tap on the mandate you want to cancel to view its details and options.
  5. Initiate Cancellation: Look for the option to cancel the mandate within the mandate details. This option is usually labeled as ‘Cancel Mandate’. Click on it to initiate the cancellation process.

How to cancel UPI mandate on ICICI bank done through any UPI App?

I’m gonna tell you the step by step guide created through Google Pay. It is almost same for every UPI Payment app. So you can follow below guide for any UPI app.

  • First of all, Go to the UPI app from where mandate was initaiated.
  • After that, click the profile icon at the right top of your UPI app.
  • Once there, click the bank account or UPI from where mandate or auto pay was initiated.
  • Once you got there, there you will find a option of UPI Mandate or Auto Pay.
  • Click on it and there you will find all the details of mandate like its amount, period, etc.
  • Click the mandate that you want to cancel and there you will get a option to Cancel the mandate.
  • Click on it and that’s it. The UPI mandate is cancelled.

You will most probably get a confirmation regarding the same on your registered email or your registered phone shortly.

Cancelling UPI mandate when created directly through bank like SBI and HDFC bank:
  • First of all, Go to the mobile banking app or internet banking of the bank from where mandate was created.
  • After that, click the profile icon at the right top of your mobile banking app or internet banking.
  • Once there, click the bank account from where mandate or auto pay was initiated.
  • Once you got there, there you will find a option of UPI Mandate or Auto Pay.
  • Click on it and there you will find all the details of mandate like its amount, period, etc.
  • Click the mandate that you want to cancel and there you will get a option to Cancel the mandate.
  • Click on it and that’s it. The UPI mandate has been cancelled.
